This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected when you visit emrealadag.com (the "Site"), apply for training or consulting services, or use applications I develop that connect to your Google account.
1. Overview
I provide training and consulting services in artificial intelligence, software development and data science. I respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and internationally recognized data protection principles.
2. Information Collected
2.1. Information You Provide Directly
When you fill in a training/consulting form or contact me, you may share:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company/organization name and job title
- Training topics and service requests you are interested in
- Any other information you submit through the form
2.2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, the following may be collected automatically:
- Cookies and analytics data: anonymous usage statistics via Google Analytics (page views, session duration, referral source). IP addresses are anonymized.
- Technical information: browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution.
3. How Information Is Used
Information is used to:
- Provide services: evaluate training and consulting requests, recommend suitable programs and prepare proposals
- Communicate: answer your questions and share information about my services
- Improve the Site: improve the user experience using anonymous analytics
- Meet legal obligations: comply with obligations required by law
Your personal data is not shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4. Third-Party Services
The following third-party tools are used to provide the Services:
4.1. HubSpot CRM
Training and consulting application forms are hosted on HubSpot. Information you submit through these forms is processed on HubSpot's servers. HubSpot participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
4.2. Google Analytics
Google Analytics is used to analyze Site traffic. IP addresses are anonymized (anonymize_ip: true). Google Analytics cookies are used to collect usage statistics.
4.3. Web3Forms
The contact form on the Site is powered by Web3Forms.
5. Google User Data
Some of the applications I develop (the "Apps") can connect to a Google account after the account owner grants permission on Google's consent screen. This section explains how data received from Google APIs ("Google User Data") is accessed, used, stored and shared.
5.1. Data Accessed
An App accesses only the data covered by the permissions you grant, for example your Google account email address and calendar events. It requests only the permissions needed for the features you use.
5.2. How the Data Is Used
Google User Data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features you request from the App. It is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not used to build user profiles or determine creditworthiness.
5.3. Sharing and Transfer
Google User Data is not shared with third parties, except:
- Service providers: infrastructure or AI model API providers that process the data solely to deliver the feature you requested, under terms that do not allow them to use it for their own purposes or to train their models
- Legal obligation: when required by applicable law, regulation or a court order
- Security: when necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents, with your consent where required
5.4. Storage and Protection
- Access tokens are stored encrypted on servers controlled by the operator and are never shared.
- Google User Data is kept only as long as needed to provide the requested feature.
- All data in transit is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS).
- No person reads your Google User Data, except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or when required by law.
5.5. AI/ML Model Training
Google User Data, including data obtained through Google Workspace APIs, is not used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
5.6. Revoking Access and Deleting Data
You can revoke an App's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Stored tokens are then invalidated and deleted. To request deletion of any other data, use the contact form. Requests are completed within 30 days.
5.7. Limited Use Disclosure
The Apps' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the Site may then not work properly.
7. Data Security
The following measures are taken to protect your personal data:
- All data in transit is encrypted with SSL/TLS (HTTPS)
- Third-party service providers maintain enterprise-grade security standards
- Access to data is limited to the data controller
- Data that is no longer needed is deleted at the end of its retention period
8. Retention Periods
- Training/consulting application data: 2 years
- Contact form data: 1 year
- Analytics cookies: up to 14 months (Google Analytics default)
- Google access tokens: until you revoke access
- Google User Data: only as long as needed to provide the requested feature
9. Your Rights
Under KVKK, and, where applicable, the data protection law of your country of residence (such as the GDPR), you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed
- Request information about your data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Learn about transfers of your data to third parties
- Object to processing

10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for people under 18. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you become aware of such a case, please contact me and the data will be deleted promptly.
11. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be revised to reflect changes in law or in the Services. When significant changes are made, this page is updated and the "Last Updated" date is revised.
